Ravi Ravindranath:
Currently the Director of Advanced Technology for Northern
Telecom (NORTEL) in Santa Clara, California, Ravi has lived in
the U.S. since 1970. Ravi is devoted to Kannada. A self-taught
musician who sings and plays mandolin, he composes and loves to
listen to music. He takes active part in Indian social and
cultural activities and is very involved in Kannada Koota.
Sandhya Ravindranath: Sandhya has
been very active in Kannada Koota of Northern California. Despite
being a working mother with son, Divy, and daughter, Krithi , she finds time to write Kannada
poetry, short stories and plays, many of which have been
presented at cultural functions as well as published in
"Amerikannada" and other publications.
Praveen Duth Stephen:Having grown up in a household of musicians, Stephen is well
versed in playing keyboard and guitar. He has worked with many leading movie music directors. While being a very talented arranger, conductor and music director in his own right, he is a very creative composer and is well respected. He is bound to make a name for bringing delightful compositions of his own in the future. This album owes much to him for the enhancements to the compositions and beauty of his keyboard playing.

Augustine:One of the best sound engineers in the field, he is a very accomplished musician having played the violin for hte album. Augustine is equally to be appreciated as a wonderful evolved individual whose constant attention to quality and dedication was much appreciated during the recordings and mixing.
Rathnamala Prakash: A household name in kannada music, she is well-known throughout Karnataka as well as abroad. The silkiness of her voice and the expert touch of her rendering are behind some of the most popular and melodious of songs in Kannada music.
Narasimha Naik: A leading voice on
many albums, a very talented artist, he should be commended for
the dedication he has shown not only for preserving and
popularizing rare Bhakti music but also for the support he has
been to other kalavidas. His performances during the 1996 tour of
the United States of America are most memorable to NRI Kannadigas.
Raju Ananthaswamy: Raju displays a
mastery of composition and singing beyond his young age. His rich
voice and its unique appeal can be heard not only on many albums
but also in movies. His talents are bound to make him very
popular in the tradition of his father, the late Mysore Ananthaswamy.

Suma Shastri: An upcoming artist,
Suma is married to another singer-artist, Shastri. suma not only
delivers the songs with the perfection desired by music
directors, but her soulful renderings bring the full import of
the bhaava in the songs also. Her melodious voice and her full
devotion to the presentation indicate a promising future.
Rajesh: Already well known as a
playback singer for movies in the Kannada and Telugu languages,
Rajesh has a very rich and powerful voice.
Anita Ananthaswamy: Another talented singer in the Ananthaswamy family, she has been featured in many earlier albums and public performances. Her delightful voice as well as her bright, cheerful personality will appeal to the audience.
Pallavi:An upcoming, aspiring
singer, Pallavi displays maturity and experience in her
performance which is commendable for her age. She is already
performing at many public functions, with a promising career
ahead of her. She has sung the duet with Rajesh and well as the
chorus with Suma and Sunitha.
Bali:The celebrated master of rhythm, Bali is owed much for his creative contributions to a large number of albums. We had the fortune to have his innovation, composition talent and experienced performance on the Dholak for this album.

Shivu:Shivu, a leading tabla and mridangam artist, has shown his excellent prowess in this album on the tabla. Shivu has toured the US and was much appreciated for his excellent accompaniment. Son of the famous Anoor Ramakrishna, Shivu runs a music school where he imparts his qualities of dedication to the art to his students.
Arun: Arun is an expert on the drums and rhythm machine. At the yound age of 18, he has talent far beyond his age. He has toured South Africa.
Butto:Anna Prasada Patnaik, affectionately known as "Butto", is one of the most sought after Flute artists. The melody and the mood he creates is spell-binding. We were very fortunate to have him perform despite his hectic schedule.
Kishore:A yound and aspiring artist, Kishore is the son of the famous music director T.G.Lingappa. "A chip of the old block", Kishore is a very talented performer whohas played sitar for this album.
Caleb:Caleb is an accomplished guitar artist, who has played the acoustic guitar for the album. His performance has a graceful touch that blends so well with the singer.
Prasad:Prasad is a name that is synonymous with mandolin. He is the foremost name in playing the mandolin, although he is also well known for playing the veena. Prasad is not only a great performer, he is also a composer and music director in his own right. His accompaniment to the famed legend, Sri C.S. Ashwath, during their 1995 concert tour of the US is unforgettable.
